I think the "live as if your father were dead" is more of a metaphor for understanding that your father is a human, not a God or a monster. As children, we tend to either idolize or demonize our parents depending on how we feel about them in a given moment. Later on (sometimes after they've passed away), we realize that our parents did the best they could. We take the good things they gave us and leave the bad.

As a man, I wouldn't say this is too much work. I respond to these teachings particularly having reaped the consequences of not knowing them. It benefits both sexes.
Being matched with the right partner is being matched with someone who meets your needs whether you realise it or not, that's why it feels effortless. Also, many relationships feel effortless, ... until they don't, particularly early on.
Many men who grew up fatherless naturally end up with an imbalanced maculine/feminine energy tilted towards the feminine, particularly if they grew up with their mother and the consequence of this causes issues in relationships when women subconsciously reject the traits, which feminised men don't even realise they've displayed, never mind realising they even had those traits or / where they came from.
This book helps explain what goes wrong / went wrong.
Also, as men we like a challenge and we appreciate being told what the challenge is.
So for fatherless men, who have no masciline male role model to naturally take after, this book explains the missing pieces.

There was a waterfall near us, such a lovely thin streak of water, like a thread but white and moving. It fell from a great height, but it looked quite low, and it was half a mile away, though it did not seem fifty paces. I loved to listen to it at night, but it was then that I became so restless. Sometimes I went and climbed the mountain and stood there in the midst of the tall pines, all alone in the terrible silence, with our little village in the distance, and the sky so blue, and the sun so bright, and an old ruined castle on the mountain-side, far away. I used to watch the line where earth and sky met, and longed to go and seek there the key of all mysteries, thinking that I might find there a new life, perhaps some great city where life should be grander and richer--and then it struck me that life may be grand enough even in a prison.

It is not contradicting if you could think about it more. In my opinion
It reflects the wavy ness of female nature the point to be taken here is focus on the purpose keep being the man she was attracted to the first time you met up don't let her control you, show love but do so in the framework of Work first Bitches second

Yeah, that is a ridiculous statement to make obviously. I think the intention was aimed at a deeper truth, which is that the feminine never lies as a collective.

Women lie because they can get away with it, and they can get away with it only because of the week men around them.

in the book, the 51 lessons are presented sequentially and divided into 8 parts
but we believe that each lesson is standalone, and anyone can select which one is relevant to his/her situation

You probably think a confident man can wear painted nails and make up and act like an EMOtional Soft Punk. Who asks queer then abuses women boy just stop that’s a CON MAN, a Down Low Man, A Bottom… Expressing his inner pink across the booty sweats
